At Solutions On Stage, one of our strongest assets is the people we employ. As such, we’re delighted to welcome Matthew ‘Chilli’ Chillingworth to the team as a Technical Engineer. NEWS: Solutions On Stage IMPROVES PERFORMER SAFETY OF MAGIC MIKE LIVE!

Based on the box office smashes of Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL, Magic Mike Live! is a sizzling 360-degree dance and acrobatic spectacular that is in equal parts empowering and exhilarating. The show takes place at London’s iconic Hippodrome Casino and features heart-racing dance routines that take place in front of, above and around the audience. As such, they asked Solutions On Stage to design, manufacture and test bespoke steelwork for a specific track used throughout the show, which had to meet the necessary requirements for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

In fact, one of our main aims as a company is to support the life-cycle of our customers’ performance spaces, through the range of services we now offer. As such, we’ve put together a blog which looks at these specific services and explain how, together, they contribute to the longevity of countless venues up and down the country.

Following on-going inspections, it was concluded that it was time for the theatre to upgrade its raise-and-lower flying installation – and they approached Solutions On Stage to do this.
