Training for Education

Our practical training courses and workshops specifically designed with Young People in mind, can help you bring technical theatre into a new dimension. Learn theoretical and practical aspects of theatrical lighting and sound from a creative perspective. Our courses can also help you to stay up to date with health and safety standards, as required by law, or help you to feel confident working with your equipment.

These sessions have been designed specifically not only for those working in the performance industry, but for those who may also need to deliver lighting and sound training in-house, for those students who wish to simply understand areas a little more for exam purposes, or for students for whom this can enrich their existing curriculum. We are able to adapt these to suit your particular requirements and can deliver training at your venue (we can accommodate a range of class sizes, including 1-2-1).

We start by working with you to assess your training needs, creating an individual training plan to maximise the benefits for your colleagues, staff and students.

Take a look at our training courses below for more information. If you have a training requirement that is not listed, please give us a call to see if we can help. .

‘Really appreciate the training you provided, feeling much more confident and have gained a real interest for the tech side of things! I also now have a much more suitable ladder as went with the one you recommended.’
